Sclerotherapy

Posted by Avatar on May 29 2008 | Real-life, Techniques

scleiotherapy.jpgEver been bothered by those broken veins on your face and legs, well they’re actually broken capilliaries and can be compared to a milder form of varicose veins older women usually have from long periods of standing up. It is unsightly especially in the summer when you would dare to bare it all yet have to hide all that skin under clothing because of them. The good news is that there are proceses that takes them away as if by magic but expect a hefty price for they cost around 200 Pounds per hour and a minimum 3 session treatment is needed for effective removal or at least to make them least apparent.
The tratment has a solution that shrinks these lines or veigns that eventually disappear as the treatment progresses. The treatment usually lasts a few weeks and a full summer’s worth of sun is to be avoided for the treated parts so they don’t reappear.

Pictures – All in the pose

Posted by Avatar on May 25 2008 | Real-life, Techniques

pose.jpgMany people dread pictures and brand themselves as non-photogenic which tends to muddle up the overall picture so to speak. Everybody has a bad and good side, literally and even celebrities have a pose they want to show off and some sides they tend to hide. Ask a beauty expert for advice on which side of your face is the best to accentuate so the next time tound you’d know which way to face. Check out old photos so you get which pose and side combination works best for you. Ned make-up for a new look, try it out a few days in advance of your photo shoot or event so you can correct or ask for advise for untamable makeup. Remember, beauty is how you project yourself and it starts from within. If you don’t feel about yourself on the inside, whatever you do, the outside reflects this too so keep smilen’ and posin’.

Want a Less Stressful Look – Get a Scalp Massage

Posted by Avatar on May 21 2008 | Real-life, people

scalpmassage.jpgMany think beauty is limited to the face without much consideration for the body as a whole. The newer wholistic approach to beauty sees the face as part of the human body and only a small part of the person’s beauty. For a beautiful face, get a scalp massage, sounds crazy? Well, the scalp as we know it is mostly skin that as we age tends to lose some of its elasticity. This loss of elasticity tends to excert pressure on your muscles and skin leading to headaches and other annoying aches and pains that with a simple and relaxing massage sends it away into peaceful bliss leaving you refreshed and beautiful ready to continue with the rest of the day.

Organic that’s not so organic

Posted by Avatar on May 09 2008 | Basics, Real-life, Techniques, Tools

beauty.jpgNews from OrganicAuthority.com, not all organic products are totally organic and that’s the truth. They say it all in the article and raise a new warning for consumers. Many products that are on the shelves of department stores and other outlets claim to be totally organic and thus we think they are safe for use all the time. Yet a non-profit watchdog agency has revealed that out of all the so-called “organic products” most have chemicals that can be harmful to your health and even be toxic for some people. The article also reveals a very important point, the cosmetics industry is not regulated by the EPA or the FDA and they are mostly ignorant of any cosmetic products that may have toxic chemicals or chemical concoctions that can be harmful for humans. The study is prompting for meetings between the EPA and the FDA and cosmetic manufacturers due to the fact that cosmetics is a booming industry worth billions of dollars each year in the United States alone.

Soaps

Posted by Avatar on May 05 2008 | Real-life, Tools

soap.jpgDo you know that even the oldest brands of soap have tons of man-hours and thousands of people working on them day in and day out to continuously improve them? Well, that’s the truth and the feelings of James Schwartz when he was off fresh from college and when he got a slot into Proctor and Gamble that was something he never dreamed of. All he knew that it was a bar or soap and it has been the same since it was introduced into the market. That all changed when he got to know the process by hand which he was in utter disbelief for the amount of work and time spent on perfecting each and every batch of the stuff would send your head spinning in terms of the ingredients and chemistry at work. He was entasked of working in the Ivory soap product line which has remained on shelves since time immemorial. The mix has changed; the product has evolved all in the name of beauty and mildness. Materials, additives, chemistry and many other stuff all make for a nice product that people swear by.

Face Washes

Posted by Avatar on May 01 2008 | Tools

facewash.jpgWe’ve all heard that this product is best and that is also the best but dermatologists and beauty experts always recommend one product out of the thousands on the market. Cetaphil face wash is the best facial wash solution for them all, why, well first it’s so mild and irritation free that even the most sensitive skin does fine with it. Next, it contains the mildest and most dermatologically accepted products even babies can use it for washing or bath time. This product works wonders for those with skin that is so sensitive the mere thought of washing it sends shivers down your spine. Ask your dermatologist for the best product for you and ask about the product, they would surely agree with this and so does most beauty experts
