The History of Beauty Queens
As long as history, man and women were together, there have been beauty queens. Who wouldn’t want to have the most beautiful girl next to you as you wife and queen. The Egyptians, the Aztecs and almost all major ancient civilizations had Queens at the sides of their Kings as the symbol of fertility and womanhood. Many Queens have even made it into the history books as leaders of their countries like Nefertiti the Egyptian queen who declared herself king placing women as competitors to men.
